#BantasticIndia - Ban The Word Which Will Always Be Heard
Share this post
BAN , probably the most used word in the last few months of this year. The way this word has garnered so much attention in usual conversations and on social media, is a clear manifestation of the power it possesses. The declaration of a ban causes more upheaval than the gruesome incidences of violence and breach of law that happens every day.
Apparently, people in most cases immediately respond to BAN declarations and talk about it with great zeal. So what if the power of the word ban was used to draw attention towards the little acts of the people, which they think are utterly innocuous but are perhaps painful in someone else’s world or even the contributors of major problems we face today. Personally, I don’t support bans but I really can’t deny the fact that wherever there is the BAN word, it will always be heard.( it rhymed :p)
Moving further let’s check out the trivial things towards which I intend to draw your attention through the power of the word BAN ( I didn’t say I want to ban them , I am liberal BTW , just saying :P)
- POTHOLES
Always taken lightly, our beloved POTHOLES. These are one of major reasons for accidents and somehow the proof of corruption and inefficiency. Imagine a ban declaration of potholes and the upheaval it would cause. I guess no one would be against that (BMC might have a problem though) - RACISM
Indeed. This “ISM” has been the cause for so many serious problems we face today( World wars were also a contribution) and still half of the time we don’t realize that we ourselves are contributing towards it. Don’t believe me? What’s your reaction when you see a couple where one of them is dark-skinned and the other one is fair? If it is: “The dark-skinned one doesn’t deserves the fair-skinned one”, then congratulations you belong to the racist club. BTW hatred towards any group makes you racist so if you are a white person hater, still you’re racist and also RACISM covers a lot more than this.
Source - INTERFERENCE
Advising others what to do with their lives and interfering in their private matters is also a worthy candidate that can be declared to be banned. Why? Ask the engineers who pursued engineering over their passion because of the interfering advices of the CHAAR LOG around their parents.
Source - BUREAUCRACY
Enter a government office to get your job done, most of the time you will experience a massive delay. These stringent procedures lead to corruption and the lack of prompt action aspect of it has been the cause of many deaths in the past. Why can’t this be nominated for a ban declaration?
Source - WASTAGE
Talk about the consequences of wasting resources in front of a bunch of people, the most obvious reaction would be: CHAL LECTURE MAT DE. Wastages lead to scarcity, inflation and even poverty but as we take it to be harmless we hardly see it that way. Perhaps, if an intention to declare a ban on it is publicized, may be people would think about it or at least would pretend to.
Source - TRAFFIC RULE IGNORANCE
It can Most of us know that acts like honking continuously in spite of the signal being red or stopping your car far beyond the zebra crossing are punishable but still people continue to do this. Let’s hope the power of the ban draws some attention here.
Source - NARROW-MINDEDNESS
The most powerful beings of the world also suffer from this mental deformity which appears to be frivolous but is a catalyst for the huge troubles we face today. For instance: A notion that a person who isn’t fluent at English is inefficient or how it is always the victim who is wrong in case of sexual offences, can cause havoc not only in the lives of the people directly affected by it but also in the world they live in.

I wish , we could actually ban these little evils from our world but clearly we all know that bans are neither completely successful nor are always possible. NEVERTHELESS, drawing attention through the word is always possible. Thanks for your attention :p
TIP : Use BAN in your sentence may be then you would be taken seriously.
