The 2015 season of the Indian Premier League, IPL 8 or as we all know it The Pepsi IPL 2015 is the eighth season of the IPL. Team Kolkata Knight Riders are the defending champions having won the title in the 2014 season.
The tournament starts on Wednesday, 8 April 2015 but No matches will be held in Kolkata from April 12-25 due to the Scheduled Municipal Elections on Those Dates.

Recent News Linked with IPL as per Reports is : The bowling review committee of BCCI comprising of Mr S Venkatraghavan, Mr Javagal Srinath and Mr AV Jayaprakash examined the bowling action of Mr Sunil Narine after he had undergone a biomechanical assessment at the ICC accredited SRMC centre, Chennai. As a result, Mr Sunil Narine is now allowed to bowl in all BCCI tournaments.

Opening Night Celebration will be held on 7th April, where Farhan Akhtar & Band, Shahid Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Pritam & Band and Hrithik Roshan will be preforming.
On 8th of April First match will be played between Team Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders.
