In a very shocking revelation, India Today cover story talks about IB's [Intelligence Bureau of India] declassified files that clearly reflects that Bose Family was being Spied on by IB on order of Indian Government specifically Our then PM Jawaharlal Nehru.

It is noted that the Bose Kin was spied for almost 2 decades, from duration of 1948 that is just after [India got Independence from Britishers] to 1968 [4 years after Mr Nehru died] India Today story was reported saying, Letters written by Emillie Schenkl, wife of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose to Netaji's nephew Sisir Kumar Bose were first copied and stored by IB officials, in the secret files maintained for Bose Family. These files were stored and secretly preserved in locked cupboards of IB office of Kolkata. These files were declassified recently and were placed as National Archives by Union Home Ministry.

The question that is being raised by many is why a man who fought for his country, his family would be put under surveillance. Netaji's grandnephew was dishearten with news he spoke, “Surveillance is conducted on those who have committed a crime or have terrorist links. Netaji and his family fought for the freedom of the country, why should they be placed under surveillance?"
Netaji's daughter Anita Bose is shocked at the revelations, she said “My uncle (Sarat Chandra) was politically active until the 1950s and disagreed with the Congress leadership. But what surprises me is that my cousins could have been under surveillance, they had no security implications at all"

With this revelations nation and family Neta ji is demanding quick and speedy declassification of all Files related to Netaji. Rajnath Singh, Former BJP President had said in 2014 that his government would declassify Netaji files if came in to the power. But very recently RTI activist Subhash Chandra Agarwal who had demanded declassification, was told by the Prime Minister's Office that Disclose of these files would prejudicially affect relations with foreign countries.
Trinamool Congress MP Sukhendu Sekhar Roy had responded with query stating ""How can Netaji's death in an air crash be blamed on foreign countries? There are clearly some other reasons which both the BJP and Congress want to cover up."

With seriousness of this issue and crucial revelation, files should be declassified and disclose. Probably then only the truth of Netaji's Death, the Surveillance by IB and Nehru's role in entire secrecy would be revealed
